VMworld 2014 – pre-conference impressions
Yesterday we flew to San Francisco and had to battle the jetlag, after being awake for 24 hours straight, the jetlag eventually won.
Today we got a chance to discover San Francisco and get our first impression of the city and register at the Moscone Center for VMworld 2014!
After some breakfast we walked to the Moscone Center to register, dodging the long waiting lines tomorrow. Once inside I got a lot of attention for my ‘Run SDDS #vMania-shirt“. Some wanted to buy the shirt of my back or took a picture to create one themselves. I thought the shirts were pretty famous but it must have been a Europe/Netherlands-only thing. After that we checked out the Moscone Center and got some information on the VMworld 2014 shuttle busses.
Then we walked to the AT&T Park baseball stadium, visited the fan shop and chilled at the marina. From the marina we headed back to the hotel and went to the Ferry Building for a bite to eat. All in all a great day in a great city. Tomorrow VMworld 2014 will start, we are ready!
