Get Ready for VMworld! VMworld Europe 2014 is about to start. Next week Barcelona will be filled with all kinds of vEvents, vTweetUps, vBeers, vBeards, etc.etc, and of course technical and sales sessions .

Erik talked about all the different events going on in Barcelona here.

If your calendar isn’t filled yet, do hurry. The catalog is at the VMworld site.

VMworld itself takes place at the Fira Barcelona Gran Via.

Join other business and technology professionals, and VMware experts and executives as they all come together to share the stories of our successes over the last year, learn from each other and inspire each other to realize greater achievements in virtualization.

Check out the highlights from this years conference in the US here.

 Some tips

  • Don’t plan too much. There are a lot of things to see.
  • Make sure you have enough time. Since the distances you have to walk are great.
  • Travel light. A lot of vendors give away things, like t-shirts and other stuff. If you travel by plane they have to fit into your luggage (limits).
  • Make friends. Talk to the experts, speakers, etc. This is your chance to learn something that isn’t (always) in the books.

Meet VMGuru

If you want to meet us in real life, give us a tweet. Edwin, Alex and Sander will be there to represent us. Erik and A.J. will be following the event from The Netherlands.
