VMware App Volumes 2.7 goes GA

Today VMware announced App Volumes 2.7 to be general available. VMware App Volumes is a real-time application delivery system that enables Enterprise IT to instantly deliver applications with complete application lifecycle management. VMware App Volumes provides seamless end-user experience while reducing infrastructure and management costs.

The addition of support for both Windows 8.1 and Windows 2012 R2 to App Volumes are very welcome. Personally I hoped that support for App-V would have been added so both Thinapp and App-V could be used and increase the number of use cases even further.
